ONES TO WATCH

Gators Blue will be hoping that injury sidelines last weeks breakout performance at blitzer from Orange's Jake Williams.

Williams had a rough start outgoing on offence but bounced back and blew up on defence against Cardiff Bay Coyotes with 5 sacks in just the one half, meaning the QB had to adjust for the oncoming presence. Gators Blue will have to be wary of the threat, should Williams be given the green light to play.

COACHES CORNER

HC Dale Davies:

"The Intra squad league game is finally here.

Lots will have been looking forward to this matchup. It’s a little bit of a shame we’ve got some injuries still but nevertheless it’s bound to be ultra competitive with pride and bragging rights on the line.

Blues also have the unenviable task of facing the Hurricanes which will be a massive test for them and the Oranges face off against an ever improving H2 squad.

Whatever the results it bound to be a good weekend for the Gators regardless."

OC Christopher Bartlett-Legge:

"Happy with last week it showed we had Abit of fight in us compared to the previous gameday.

I honestly don't know what to expect this week with the sheer amount of injuries we have, but I know we will be able to dig deep and put out a performance we can be proud of, also gives us a chance to try people in even more variation to previous game-days.

Can't wait to watch it from the comfort of a camping chair."

DC Mark Studley:

"Big week for us after the disappointment of the last game-week where we feel we let ourselves down a bit.

The Derby against the Oranges who finally started to click last game day is huge for us. Not just for bragging rights but also in our pursuit of not finishing below .500 for the season.

Both teams have been disrupted by injuries, CBL being out will be a huge loss for the orange team, we were all gutted when we found out he wouldn't be playing. Hopefully it will be one that we all enjoy however it plays out.

Our second game against Hurricanes is an entirely different prospect. With Dale kindly doing their team talk on the podcast this week we're expecting to have everything thrown at us. Hopefully we can embrace the opportunity to play against the best, and we'll be looking to give as good as we can back."

The results and Game-day reviews will be up over the weekend once the fixtures have taken place.
