The Gwent Gators have announced their team Captains for their Split Orange and Blue squads in the 2021/22 Welsh League Season.
With the news of the Gwent Gators fielding two separate squads, two captains were chosen to lead each squad during the Welsh Division season.
For the Orange; Club Vice Captain Andy Giboney.
For the Blue; is this years Club Captain and Defensive Co-ordinator Mark Studley.
Keeping the themes of focus on Offence and Defence for both sides.
Head Coach Dale Davies explained the choices:
"Our captains for the year are Club Captain Mark Studley (He was last years captain also but didn’t see any action due to Covid, maybe it was all his fault!) who will captain the Blues and Club Vice captain Andy Giboney who will captain the Oranges."
"Both bring a wide and varied breadth of experience from not only Flag Football but other competitive team sports and are outstanding role models and club representatives on and off the field."
Squad lists for the Orange and Blue Gator Squads will be announced in the coming days.
