OFF-SEASON | Gators announce two scrimmage matches to continue 2020 friendlies series.

The Gwent Gators announced another friendly match-day to their Off-season plan with two scrimmage games against Cardiff Hurricanes.
The Gators will head down to Cardiff to face off in two scrimmage matches off the back of an entertaining competitive win in their second of two game-days against Swansea Hammerheads.
This game-day will be the third in the space of a month with one training session breaking up the difference in opposition, giving the Gators time to improve and build from where they left off at Swansea Recreational.
Newly appointed DC Mark Studley said: "With so long off it's been great to be able to schedule a few games. Everyone in the team can be really pleased about how much our performance improved over the last two weekends, finally getting the monkey off our backs of stopping Swansea's winning streak against us, and even more importantly putting in a really good all around performance to do it was a great feeling for the squad."
"As well as the opportunity to keep doing what we enjoy and playing matches; this weekend will give us two more chances to use the lessons from our rookie league season and continue to build towards the next one."
"Challenging ourselves against the reigning champions will be a great learning experience for everyone involved; hopefully we can carry over the positivity from our previous weekends and we can continue to have fun and develop."
Head Coach Dale Davies will be taking a squad hoping to continue form and pursue a winning streak before any kind of season is announced.
The fixtures will take place on Sunday 6th of December at Cardiff.
